A classic selection of UK Dub / Reggae from the 00's, emerging from Wolverhampton. Recorded on 1 inch reel to reel and dubbed live in the studio. Featuring veteran artists, Sons of David, Eamon Fya and Dread Lester, with help from Calvert and Spock.

Livicated to the memory of Dread Lester and the Sam Sharpe Music Project, which gave the foundations to More Knowledge Recordings.

This release is one we are very proud of. An original composition by our friend Eamon 'Fya' Sterling, this song originates as a version first recorded with Ras Muffet in the 80s in Wolverhampton and then again with Abelwell Foundation on the 'Talk About It' album. You can't find either very easily!

Here we present a tough roots based relick with 4Series recorded in the midst of lockdown. Featuring a deep and powerful vocal from Sterling, built upon a riddim track that is as heavy as lead. Accompanied by 2 dubs, mixed by Tomcat for the 4Series crew, feat P Manasseh on gits.

Livicated to the memory of Sterling who passed away in 2021, not long after the track was released. Hear Tomcat's tribute to him here.

A heavy dubplate special featuring the McGregor brothers, Andrew and Peter on vocal duties, of Abelwell Foundation.

We go back a long way with Abelwell, having met them whilst they were cutting their album 'Talk About It' in the control room of Sam Sharpe Music Project in 2000.

The riddim for this tune was built by Tomcat and the vocals recorded during lockdown in 2020. Presented here with a dubplate style dub mix, watch out for exclusive mixes circulating at dub dances.

Taking the collaboration away from the focus of the Midlands, Rivers of Water is a collaboration between south-east based Congo Manray and Tomcat on production.

The weighty vocal is followed by a devastating dub mix, primed for sound system play.
